Planning weddings is always a joy for us, especially when the couple entrusts us, with unwavering faith, to bring their vision into an unforgettable reality. After many hours of meetings, coffee dates, drink dates and then some, the BIG day for Alex + Jerry arrived. We can go on and on, but we have a separate post with a delicious gallery of eye-candy goodness coming in the next few days, so we'll save the story details for now.

Today's post is more about the emotions of being recognized for such an incredible wedding! In the latest issue, the 30th Anniversary issue of Weddings in Houston Magazine, you will find the beautiful feature of Alex+Jerry's wedding....always an honor!

As if this wasn't enough, our local chapter of NACE {National Association of Catering & Events} awarded us for Wedding of the Year in the $50K category for Alex+Jerry's wedding! We had some great talent up for the same category, so we feel truly honored and blessed to have received this recognition. Of course, to create an incredidible wedding, requires a team of talented professionals...and they deserve this award as much as we do. The biggest Thank You goes to our beautiful couple, who entrusted us with every detail of their wedding and allowed us to let our creative juices flow with no restraint! Lastly, to the {DTR} team for all the hard work you put into each and every one of our weddings!
