A Day To Remember, sister company to Flowers To Remember
and Cakes To Remember was established in the fall
of 2002. Being heavily involved in the bridal industry,
A Day To Remember was created by Claudia G. de
Velasco and her sister and business partner, Veronica
G. de Velasco to supplement and satisfy the needs
of our clients. The first major project was the
first annual “Discover the Magic” Toy
Drive, benefiting the patients at Texas Children’s
Hospital. A Day To Remember is currently an active
exhibitor at the Houston Bridal Extravaganza, Texas’ largest
bridal expo.

A Day To Remember was born out of a desire to create
memorable events with the utmost attention to
detail. A special events and marketing company,
A Day To Remember strongly believes in attention
to detail and the ability to create and execute
the most creative ideas. Whether you need assistance
in planning a small get together, a memorable
wedding, a posh corporate event, a lavish gala
fundraiser or a convention, A Day To Remember
will handle every final detail with ease. Located
in the Heights, our special event planning services
will travel nationwide and create that special…Day
To Remember.
A Day To Remember is proud to be an active member
with the Galleria Chamber of Commerce, the Houston
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Greater Heights Chamber
of Commerce, Hispanic Women in Leadership, Professional
Wedding Guild and ISES (International Special Events
Society).
We believe in giving back to the community, so
in an effort to assist in the well being of today’s
youth, A Day To Remember has also become involved
and sits on the board for Project Hope of Houston,
a non-profit organization mentorship program for
troubled high school students and Talento Bilingue
